About Crave Pasticceria
Hi! I’m Shani and I run Crave Pasticceria. Thank you for visiting our online cake shop and giving us the opportunity to create delicious and beautiful cakes for your special (or casual!) occasions. We are currently an online-only cake shop. It’s mostly a one-woman show but I do get the occasional assist from my partner Keanu and my mom Mellany.
My passion lies with creating cakes that are little slices of edible art. Using ganache and buttercream as my primary mediums, I love exploring different textures and adorning cakes with beautiful arrangements of buttercream flowers. We value the use of only quality whole ingredients, with recipes developed by my Mom and I to create perfectly textured and delicious cakes.
I know how lucky I am to be able to combine my passion with my career, to have found so early in life, exactly what it is that sets my heart on fire.I put my all into every cake I bake and decorate and love the whole process, from talking to clients about what they want to the fully embellished finish. But the ultimate satisfaction comes when I get to do my favourite part of all – the handover! Unveiling the cake to my clients and seeing the smiles and sometimes (happy) tears in people’s eyes really puts the icing on the cake!
With an innate passion for baking, I hold a simple philosophy:
Everything I make must taste as good as it looks! Cakes are not something to be eaten and then forgotten about – they are for celebrating the moments of our lives that we wish to share with loved ones and remember forever.
